This holiday season, Bountiful Basket Food Shelf, Love Inc., Mi CASA, St. Victoria’s Catholic Church and St. Joseph’s came together to ensure every family in Carver County will be able to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. On Saturday, November 18, we had a fabulous day not only distributing Thanksgiving “Turkey and Fixings” but happiness and joy to so many families – 534 to be exact!
Bountiful Basket Food Shelf distributed 239 through a drive-up distribution while providing an additional 50 to Mi CASA and Chaska Santa for special deliveries. In partnership with Love INC of Carver County, St. Victoria Parish Family delivered 170 and St. Joseph distributed 75 to people in their homes.
Bountiful Basket will also continue to distribute additional meals to our families throughout the week prior to Thanksgiving when they come in to shop.
